Qualifications

• Aptitude to promote a favorable PPW image with patients, providers, insurers, and the public.
• Ability to work in a team and independently to provide excellent customer service.
• Leadership qualities and participation in process improvements are valued.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register each patient as they arrive.
• Verify insurance and patient demographic information at each visit.
• Collect co-pays and create patient receipts.
• Schedule appointments per PPW guidelines.
• Answer a multi-line phone and transfer as needed.
• Maintain a neat and clean waiting area.
• Communicate clearly with patients and staff while ensuring patient safety and dignity.
• Assist patients and family members with transportation arrangements when necessary.
