LifeStance Health in Charleston, SC is seeking a Medical Services Coordinator to coordinate medical care and support psychiatric clinicians. You will ensure high-quality customer service for in-person and remote patients and clinicians.

You will handle prior authorizations, lab orders, records requests, and referrals while communicating effectively with teams and patients. This role requires HIPAA compliance and strong multitasking skills.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required; associates/bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ years in healthcare operations, customer service, or similar role.
• Strong written and verbal communication; professional demeanor.
• Sensitive and confidential information handling (HIPAA) required.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate patient care and support psychiatric clinicians; process authorizations and records requests.
• Assist with lab orders, patient forms, and coordination of external referrals.
• Answer calls, manage telehealth access, and troubleshoot Patient Portal issues.
• Triage urgent requests and escalate as needed to appropriate departments.
