Job summary

LifeStance Health Inc. in Colorado Springs is seeking a Medical Services Coordinator to coordinate medical care, support patients and clinicians, and deliver high-quality in-person and remote service.

Starting compensation is $22.75 per hour with potential quarterly bonuses. The role involves patient support, clinician assistance, coordination of authorizations, lab orders, referrals, and comprehensive EHR documentation.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required; associates/bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare operations, customer service, or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive work environment and support engagement activities for clinicians and staff.
• Provide strong customer service and respond to patient needs, including difficult situations.
• Communicate with peers, clinicians, and patients to support patient care.
• Assist with prior authorizations, lab orders, and patient paperwork.
• Coordinate communications between patient, medical staff, and pharmacy.
• Manage the medical services phone line and handle medication questions and requests.
• Ensure accuracy of patient pharmacy information in the medical record.
• Scan documents into the patient’s EHR and assist with telehealth access.
• Triage urgent requests and escalate to appropriate departments.
• Assist in coordinating external referrals for patient care.
• Provide clinician support with administrative tasks like letters and faxes.
• Coordinate with clinicians on additional patient questions.
• Aid psychiatrists in termination processes for patients.
