Job summary

Performance Home Medical is seeking a motivated individual to join our Customer Service Team in the Call Center. You will handle calls from patients, providers and referrals, provide product information, and assist with resupply and private pay items.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare customer service preferred but not required.
• Background in medical equipment preferred.
• Reliable, detail oriented and able to multitask.
• Strong communication with patients, referral sources, and insurers.
• Proficient with computers and phone systems.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls from Sleep, Providers and Scheduling queue.
• Maintain knowledge of PHM products.
• Educate callers on resupply and private pay items.
• Process supply orders accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with PHM teams to support patients.
• Meet performance metrics like calls handled and average handle time.
• Troubleshoot patient equipment issues.
• Operate phone systems professionally.
• Communicate clearly, verbally and in writing.
• Be a team player and maintain a positive attitude.
• Prioritize documentation and organization.
• Experience with PAP equipment preferred.
• Type at least 30 words per minute.
