Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least one-year related work experience
• Two years’ experience in an office environment, healthcare setting or call center (preferred)
• Experience utilizing multi-line phone-system

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact to patients arriving in person.
• Answer inbound calls from customers on a multi-line phone system; provide information and resolve issues.
• Process branch duties: create and manage orders, review systems, confirm deliveries, verify insurance, obtain authorizations, monitor faxes, data entry.
• Gather documentation to meet insurance guidelines and obtain health plan authorizations.
• Review patient accounts and bill health insurance plans; collect payments and reconcile receivables.
• Perform outbound calls for customer satisfaction.
• May download data from devices and perform basic tests.
• Other duties as required.
