Mount Sinai Morningside seeks a Patient Care Associate (PT Nights EOW) to join the clinical care team. The role supports the registered nurse in delivering patient-centered care, assisting with activities of daily living, and maintaining a safe, clean patient environment.

You will perform vital signs, help with specimen collection, and assist with procedures under RN supervision, contributing to high-quality outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN with patient care activities and activities of daily living.
• Performs and records vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature) and intake/output.
• Performs specimens collection and procedures (blood glucose, venipuncture, EKG).
• Sets up for procedures and assists RN accordingly.
• Assists patients with mobility, meals, and daily needs; maintains isolation status as directed.
• Transports patients and helps with dietary trays and menu items.
• Greets visitors, answers calls, and maintains a safe, clean environment.
