The position requires High School Diploma and a Medical Assistant/Patient Care Assistant certificate, with English proficiency and ability to communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certificate in Medical Assistant/Patient Care Assistant program with venipuncture/EKG skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to collaborate with team.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with patient care activities and daily living.
• Record vital signs (BP, pulse, temp, respirations) and document intake/output.
• Provide patient comfort, assist with mobility and activities of daily living.
• Assist with dietary tasks: delivering meals, assisting with menus, nutritional supplements.
• Maintain safe, clean patient environment and proper isolation procedures when required.
• Transport patients and materials, assist with procedures setup, and document duties.
• Support with admission, transfer, discharge processes and clerical tasks.
