Select Medical in Camp Hill, PA is hiring a Customer Service Representative to handle patient and insurance inquiries via mail, telephone, e-mail and in person. You will assist in billing, balance reviews and QA reports to support patient accounts.

The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and a team-oriented environment with an orientation program and PTO benefits. On-site position with no weekend requirement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience in hospitality, retail, or banking.
• Must have computer proficiency and experience with Windows-based technologies.
• Phone or call center experience.

Responsibilities

• Answer, forward and log incoming calls as directed by the CBO Manager or Supervisor.
• Understand insurance and patient balance responsibilities related to accounts and billing.
• Resolve inquiries from patients, centers, and staff; escalate when needed to AR team or supervisors.
• Take patient payments and apply them to the correct account.
• Process and forward incoming mail per department protocols.
• Document all verbal and written communication in the billing system for patient accounts.
• Assist other departments to resolve patient account inquiries.
• Provide updates to CBO staff when payers, plans, contracts, or addresses change.
• Follow HIPAA requirements as defined by Compliance.
