Job summary

Montage Health is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support the Patient Financial Services team. You will handle calls, respond to inquiries, assist walk-in patients, and help resolve balances, payments, charity applications, and collections referrals. Strong communication, basic accounting, and billing experience are required.

Full-time, weekday hours, competitive hourly pay with shift differentials. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two-year self-pay billing collection experience.
• One year medical billing experience.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Experience with computers and standard office equipment.
• Reading and understanding financial information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls to the Customer Service Line.
• Respond to incoming correspondence (email, fax, mail).
• Assist patients who walk in and address billing concerns.
• Process payments and set up payment plans; provide statements.
• Update demographics and insurance information.
• Process charity/discounted care applications.
• Refer accounts to collections or bad debt as needed.
