SignatureCare Emergency Center seeks a Patient Collections Representative in Houston to explain billing processes, handle questions and resolve balances. You will manage self-pay accounts, set up payment plans, and document all interactions in the PM system.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in a medical call center, strong communication and de-escalation skills, and proficiency with Windows, Word, Excel, and Google Sheets. Join a collaborative, patient-focused team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in a medical call center environment.
• Proficient in Windows OS and Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Google Sheets.
• Ability to multitask while handling phone calls and document interactions.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate recovery of outstanding patient balances via high-volume calls.
• Evaluate accounts for payment plans, financial assistance, or charity care.
• Persuade and listen to secure immediate payments or plan options.
• Review EOBs and coverage to ensure accurate patient balances.
• Maintain detailed records of collections and patient interactions.
• De-escalate billing disputes with clear, simple explanations.
• Meet individual and team cash collection targets and KPIs.
• Maintain attendance and productivity in a fast-paced call center.
