The ideal candidate has 3+ years in patient pre-services roles, solid MS Office skills, and CPT/HCPCS knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three years as patient pre-services coordinator or equivalent.
• Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrate knowledge of CPT and HCPCS coding.
• Clear verbal communication; complete required e-learning within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Obtain insurance coverage information and educate patients on benefits and costs.
• Assess patients' ability to meet expenses and discuss payment options.
• Process reimbursement and liability forms for billing.
• Obtain pre-authorization or referral codes prior to treatment.
• Verify demographics and insurance at each visit in the system.
