Job summary

Mountain View Hospital is seeking an Admissions Clerk in Blackfoot, ID to manage patient intake for outpatient testing and procedures. You will collect and verify patient data, ensure accuracy in the computer system, and inform patients about Urgent Care policies.

Responsibilities include obtaining MSE signatures, communicating with staff, handling payments, and maintaining records. A high school diploma and BLS are preferred, with 1–3 months related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; current BLS Certification.
• One to three months of related experience or training; equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to use hospital information system and operate basic computer functions.

Responsibilities

• Register patients for outpatient testing and procedures; verify information on file.
• Obtain signatures on MSE and Admission forms.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors, nurses, coworkers, and physicians.
• Process patient payments and post transactions; verify cash at shift start/end.
• Maintain department records, reports, and files as required.
• Understand Urgent Care policies and available services; remain flexible under pressure.
