Mountain View Hospital in Rexburg, ID, seeks an Admissions Clerk to join our team. Arrange for efficient admission of outpatient testing or procedures; ensure patient information is accurately collected and entered, and that Urgent Care policies are communicated.

Interview incoming patients or representatives, enter required admission data, distribute information to ancillary departments, and help maintain a 95% accuracy rate quarterly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher.
• Current BLS Certification.
• One to three months’ related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to use hospital information system and operate basic computer functions and software.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; speak effectively to customers and employees.
• Mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide; compute rate ratios and percentages.
• Mental capabilities: apply common sense to instructions and solve problems with several variables.

Responsibilities

• Arrange for the efficient and orderly admission of outpatient testing or procedures.
