You will interview patients or representatives, obtain signatures on forms, handle payments, and maintain accurate records with 95% quarterly accuracy. A professional, confidential demeanor and solid computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to use hospital information system.
• Ability to read and interpret admissions forms.

Responsibilities

• Register patients for outpatient testing and procedures.
• Obtain and verify personal, emergency, and insurance information.
• Obtain signatures on MSE and Admission forms.
• Handle patient payments and post transactions accurately.
• Maintain department records and confidentiality.
• Ensure awareness of Urgent Care policies and services.
• Communicate with supervisors, nurses, and physicians as needed.
• Maintain professional, confidential patient interactions.
