Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a full-time Access Control Clerk in the East Valley/Mesa, AZ area. This role entails greeting and screening visitors, directing them to resources, and managing access to secured areas as part of our security team.

Shifts include day and night options across a range of hours, with responsibilities at five Banner Health facilities. You will work closely with Security staff and support functions such as badging, visitor passes, and parking validation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
• Must have good interpersonal communication and display compassion in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Greets and assists visitors, provides general information and directs to resources.
• Maintains orderly waiting area and ensures visitor comfort and safety.
• Performs visitor authorization procedures and coordinates visitor support services.
• May answer phones, transfer calls, take messages, and relay information.
• Performs additional duties as assigned and acts within established parameters.
