Job summary

Advocate Health Care is seeking staff to manage the Information Desk on the assigned shift. You will greet visitors, issue passes, check rooms on the visitor list, register flower deliveries, and direct people to the right hospital areas.

The role also oversees volunteers on the worked shift, ensuring effective communication, enforcing Volunteer Services policies, and attending department meetings as requested by leadership.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all functions at Information Desk on shift worked
• Issue patient/visitor passes and temporary passes; notify administration during inspections
• Greet entrants and check patient rooms on computer for visitors
• Register flower deliveries and deliver flowers
• Answer phones and provide directions to hospital areas
• Oversee volunteers on worked shift and ensure professional communication
• Attend Volunteer Department meetings and support policies and procedures
