Job summary

Intuitive Health is seeking a Part-time Patient Access Advocate to greet patients, register and verify demographics, collect payments, and support clinical staff to keep patient flow smooth.

Shifts run 11am–11pm, Saturdays and Sundays, with travel to multiple facilities as needed. The role requires strong customer service, basic computer skills, HIPAA compliance, and a friendly, reassuring approach for patients and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills essential.
• Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in person and over the phone.
• Register new patients and update demographics, insurance, and billing info.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect copays and payments.
• Facilitate patient flow by notifying clinical staff of arrivals.
• Answer phones and route calls as needed.
• Provide general information and directions.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Perform clerical tasks (copying, scanning, filing).
• Maintain waiting areas and front desk in a clean, organized state.
