Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care in Pasadena, TX is seeking a Front Office Healthcare Support professional to serve as a Patient Access Coordinator onsite, ensuring accurate data, revenue integrity, and a welcoming patient experience from pre-arrival through checkout.

The role reports to the Center Administrator and involves verifying insurance, managing patient flow, and collecting co-pays to support clinic financial health.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of patient eligibility and benefits.
• Experience using scheduling systems to improve staffing levels.
• Basic computer literacy and data entry accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Pre-visit preparation: review schedule 24–48 hours in advance to identify missing documents or gaps.
• Digital check-in: facilitate patient demographics, consents, and readiness signals.
• Queue & wait-time management: monitor queues and communicate delays to patients and staff.
• Point-of-Service (POS) collections: discuss financial responsibility and process payments with accuracy.
• Checkout & outreach: schedule follow-ups and manage no-shows or preventive care outreach.
