Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking a Front Office Healthcare Support professional to deliver a safe, accurate, and welcoming patient experience from pre-arrival through checkout. You will act as the Patient Access Coordinator, verify identities and insurance, and drive smooth clinic flow while ensuring accurate data and strong patient engagement.

The role includes 40 hours per week, with a compensation range of $39,000 to $49,400 annually and eligibility for a performance-based bonus

Qualifications

• Knowledge of computer literacy and understanding patient eligibility and benefits.
• Ability to use scheduling systems to optimize staffing levels.
• Strong communication to handle patient concerns and maintain partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Visit Preparation: Review the schedule 24–48 hours in advance to identify missing documentation, expired authorizations, or insurance gaps.
• Digital-First Intake: Facilitate patient check-in via digital tools, ensuring all demographics, consents, and 'Patient-Ready' signals are completed accurately.
• Queue & Wait-Time Management: Monitor waiting room and EMR task queues; communicate delays to patients and staff.
• Point-of-Service: Discuss financial responsibility with patients and process payments with high integrity and daily drawer reconciliation.
• Exit & Outreach: Schedule follow-ups and manage outreach for no-shows or preventive care appointments.
