Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles seeks an Admissions Team Lead to oversee daily operations of the unit, optimize patient flow, and ensure registration accuracy for billing and data quality. The role acts as a resource for coaching, training, and policy compliance across shifts in a hybrid environment after on-site training.

Formación

• High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree in Hospital Administration or equivalent preferred.
• Four (4) years of Healthcare experience in Patient Access, Registration, Financial Clearance, Scheduling, or Revenue Cycle roles; preferably with Cedars-Sinai health system.
• Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) certification preferred upon hire.
• Advanced knowledge of medical terminology, problem solving, conflict resolution and critical thinking; able to multi-task in fast-paced environment.
• Strong presentation skills, self-discipline, team orientation and cross-boundary collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitates admissions team workflow by coaching, answering questions and guiding team; cross-trained in unit areas.
• Preps and posts team work schedules; covers sick calls and department needs; 24/7 coverage.
• Evaluates performance and provides feedback; enforces attendance policy; supports hiring, transfers and promotions.
• Supports orientation and training for new hires; identifies training needs and development opportunities.
• Monitors budget by staying within staffing levels and controlling overtime; adheres to attendance policy.
• Ensures accuracy of demographic and financial information; verifies benefits and insurance coverage.
• Collects data to support performance indicators and quality reports; monitors relevant metrics.
• Updates registration system to ensure proper billing and collection.
• Monitors patient wait times and registration times against standards.
• Assists with customer issue investigations and resolutions; liaises with other units.
• Supervises day-to-day work, assigns tasks and ensures deadlines and quality standards.
