Job summary

Southcoast Health in Wareham, MA is seeking a Team Lead - Patient Access Services to supervise registration and related processes, ensure quality patient experience, and coordinate 24/7 coverage with on-call rotation.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent, plus leadership experience (3–5 years) and Epic registration/billing proficiency. Vaccination against flu and COVID-19 is required or an approved exemption.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Medical Terminology, Lean Training, CHAA/CHAR certification preferred.
• 3-5 years experience in leadership role.
• Minimum one year of team lead or coaching experience (hiring, corrective action, supervision).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, EHRs and web portals.
• Epic registration, scheduling and billing experience required.
• Vaccination against influenza and COVID-19 or exemption in writing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise assigned staff in a facility setting.
• Ensure quality patient experience from arrival to registration.
• Maintain 24/7 coverage for registration and related processes.
• Oversee expired patient processes and safeguarding patient valuables.
• Educate staff and ensure adherence to department metrics.
