Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience in business-related field.
• At least two years in Patient Access or a related department.
• One year in a leadership role supervising or coordinating staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily duties of registration, admission, transfer, and discharge.
• Review department work for customer satisfaction and third‑party billing accuracy; document performance and take corrective action as needed.
• Provide training for new staff and assess ongoing training needs.
• Oversee collection of copays and deductibles at patient access.
• Develop and monitor policies for admitting and registration aligned with management objectives.
• Create and monitor staff schedules and payroll timesheets.
