Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher in business management, accounting, or related field.
• Two years’ experience in Patient Access or related department; one-year leadership experience in supervision.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily duties of staff in registration, admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Review department performance for customer satisfaction and third-party billing accuracy; document productivity and quality metrics.
• Train new staff and provide ongoing training for existing staff in admitting or registration processes.
• Directly responsible for training and collecting copays and deductibles at patient access.
• Design, implement and monitor policies and procedures for admitting/registration aligned to management objectives.
• Create and monitor staff schedules and payroll timesheets.
