Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a Patient Access Supervisor to lead registration operations at Nicklaus Children's Hospital in Miami, FL. The role involves coordinating staff, training, and overseeing real-time performance metrics in a high-volume setting.

You will supervise patient access staff, manage schedules, and drive improvements in registration, insurance verification, and billing processes while delivering excellent customer service to internal and external clients.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of supervisory experience in healthcare or business field preferred.
• Ability to lead/direct others; high degree of analytical ability; working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of registration, insurance, scheduling, and/or verification and hospital billing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates all registration duties with direct and indirect reporting employees and ensures daily completion.
• Provides training to staff and monitors daily productivity with reporting on performance metrics.
• Manages staff schedules, including rotation, time off, and call-offs; minimizes overtime while maximizing productivity.
• Oversees upfront collection process tracking and goal setting with coaching and corrective action.
• Participates in on-call rotation and supports leadership with staffing during peak periods.
• Conducts staff evaluations and assists with process improvements and audits.
• Attends facility meetings to ensure alignment with clinical teams and client needs.
