Job summary

Nicklaus Children's Health System is seeking a Clerical/Administrative Registration Clerk to greet patients, collect demographics, insurance information, and schedule or register visits. You will verify payer details, obtain authorizations when required, and ensure accurate data entry in the admissions system.

You will communicate with patients and families by phone or in person, explain payment responsibilities, provide receipts, and coordinate with clinical teams to support smooth patient flow

Qualifications

• One year of customer service experience
• Fluent in Spanish strongly preferred
• Basic proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Able to communicate effectively in English in speech and writing

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and families in person or by phone and collects required information.
• Verifies third party payer details and obtains necessary authorizations.
• Registers and schedules patients for admission or services.
• Explains payment responsibilities and issues receipts for payments.
• Maintains confidentiality and follows HIPAA guidelines.
