Job summary

St. Luke’s Health System in Meridian is seeking a Patient Access Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations of the Patient Access team at the Meridian Cancer Institute.

The role supervises leads and a team of up to 18-20 staff, covers shifts for callouts, and drives process improvements in patient access workflows. The ideal candidate will be an action-oriented leader with strong coaching, performance management, and the ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative environment

Qualifications

• Associates degree with 3+ years of experience, or high school diploma with 5+ years.
• Experience leading or supervising a healthcare access team.
• Ability to oversee policies, staff development, and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee department workflows and staff development.
• Provide day-to-day oversight to a Patient Access team.
• Lead, coach, and assess staff performance.
• Assist in hiring, training, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with policies and practice standards.
• Perform complex duties requiring advanced knowledge in patient access.
• Develop scalable solutions to a variety of problems.
