Job summary

St. Luke's Meridian is seeking a Patient Access Specialist to provide friendly, accurate patient intake and coordination.

You will greet patients, register them, schedule appointments, and coordinate referrals while delivering professional written and verbal communication to patients and caregivers. You will discuss financial options, insurance coverage, authorizations, verifications, and estimates; use a variety of technologies to support workflows; and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Strong communication with patients and caregivers in person and over the phone.
• Familiarity with insurance concepts and patient financial discussions is a plus.

This customer service position is often the first person a patient encounters when entering a St. Luke's Meridian. This important role supports exceptional interactions to ensure professional, timely and accurate written and verbal communication with both patients and caregivers (both in person and by phone).

Minimum Qualifications for this Role:
