Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years related work experience in a fast-paced healthcare/admin setting.
• Experience with computer systems, web-based apps, and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Register patients for visits and explain the process to them.
• Process co-payments, deductibles, and balances; safeguard cash and reconcile drawer.
• Assist with scheduling, rescheduling, and referrals using multiple information sources.
• Perform pre-registration steps, verify insurance, and communicate financial clearance to patients.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure a smooth, welcoming environment.
