Job summary

Munson Healthcare is seeking a Patient Access Representative to warmly greet patients, verify information, and guide them to testing and surgery areas. You will handle registrations, communicate clearly about procedures, and maintain patient confidentiality in a busy hospital setting.

The role requires an Associate's degree or equivalent education and at least two years of customer service experience in healthcare or related fields.

Qualifications

• Two years' work experience in customer service, healthcare or business-related field.
• Associate's degree or equivalent education is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients and families in a courteous and welcoming manner.
• Register patients by obtaining and verifying information in the registration system.
• Explain procedures and hospital environment to patients to promote understanding.
• Maintain confidentiality of medical information and keep workspace orderly.
• Communicate via phone/email daily with departments for information changes.
• Support new hires as a preceptor and assist PAS leadership as needed.
