Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Patient Access Specialist based in California to coordinate referrals, intake documentation, and cross-functional communication, ensuring timely access to infusion services for patients and referral partners.

You will work with referral sources, sales, pharmacy, nursing, and internal teams to secure nursing and delivery, secure upfront payment assistance, and support clean claims and denial management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of related experience.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail orientation and strong quality focus.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery with patients, referral sources, and teams.
• Create, communicate and obtain all required documentation for new referrals.
• Secure patient upfront payment and guide to financial assistance when needed.
• Support clean claims on hold and denial management.
• Assist Supervisor and Manager with special assignments.
