Responsibilities

• Conduct patient/guarantor interviews and explain hospital policies and financial responsibilities.
• Enter and validate demographic and financial data with a high level of accuracy.
• Verify insurance coverage, identify payor sources, and obtain required authorizations.
• Collect copays, deductibles, deposits, and payments for services.
• Ensure compliance with EMTALA and patient rights requirements.
• Complete financial packets and assist with payment arrangements.
• Maintain documentation and account notes for follow-up.
• Coordinate patient placement and communicate with clinical teams.
• Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
