Job summary

Valley Health System is seeking a Patient Access Associate to support the Patient Access Center across Inpatient, Outpatient, Same Day Services, Wound Care, Infusion, Labor & Delivery and Emergency Department. You will perform reception, pre-registration, registration, cash collection, admitting, and patient/department support, while managing materials and unit-specific tasks.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Registration training program completion required.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Medical office experience required.
• CHAA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide reception, pre-registration, registration, and admitting duties.
• Assist with cash collection and patient/department support.
• Support materials/inventory management and unit tasks.
• Educate patients and assist in patient education.
• Support various departments within the Patient Access Center (Inpatient, Outpatient, Same Day Services, Wound Care, Infusion, L&D and ED).
