Qualifications

• Outpatient/Admissions: Minimum 3 years of customer service experience in customer facing roles
• Current Jefferson Seamless Access Representatives with at least 1 year of experience will be considered as meeting the experience requirement

Responsibilities

• Interacts with coworkers, visitors and staff per Jefferson values
• Gathers demographic information to identify Jefferson patients or assign a medical record number
• Requests photo IDs and insurance cards, scans copies
• Entering orders and confirming medical necessity for outpatient visits
• Interviews patients for MSPQ questionnaire for Medicare patients
• Verifies insurance coverage and benefits using RTE, Phreesia or payer websites and ensures referrals on file
