Job summary

Rochester Regional Health is seeking an Access Associate to be the first point of contact for patients. You will greet patients, handle check-in and check-out, and assist with processing payments and scheduling in our Canandaigua Behavioral Health office.

This permanent, full-time role requires a warm, customer-focused demeanor and solid computer skills to support registration, insurance verification and billing activities.

Qualifications

• 2 year degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience preferred
• Intermediate computer skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Manage incoming calls while providing information; greet patients and schedule appointments
• Registration & Verification: Complete registration, verify insurance eligibility and obtain precertification/authorization when applicable
• Billing & Payments: Collect and process payments as applicable
