Job summary

Rochester Regional Health is seeking an Access Associate to greet patients and manage check-in/check-out procedures at 229 Summit St Suite 4. You will be the first point of contact, providing directions and scheduling appointments in a friendly, professional manner.

In this Full Time role, you will verify insurance eligibility, assist with registration, and support billing and payments while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• 2 year degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Manage incoming calls while providing necessary information; greeting patients providing direction as needed and scheduling patient appointments
• Registration & Verification: Complete the registration process for patients as defined by departmental policy; verify insurance eligibility/coverage and obtain necessary precertification/authorization when applicable
• Billing & Payments: Collect and process payments when applicable
