Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Patient Access Associate to ensure complete and accurate patient records, explain services and fees, and deliver outstanding service to patients both in person and on the phone. Primary location is Danville with expected shift work in Urbana; 16 hours per week, day shifts, and a training period of 4–5 weeks on day shift.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year in an office clerical or customer service setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each registered patient has a complete and accurate OSF medical record, including demographics and insurance.
• Explain services, financial responsibilities and expectations to patients.
• Provide excellent patient service over the phone or in person.
