Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in patient access, CHAA/CRCR certifications preferred, and knowledge of the revenue cycle. Schedule is Mon-Fri 8:30a-5p; on-call duties may occur.

Qualifications

• CHAA and/or CRCR certification; company-paid.
• 2-year/associate degree preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in patient access or leadership.
• Knowledge of revenue cycle processes and insurance verification.
• Knowledge of medical terminology or CPT codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform admitting and pre-registration duties for hospital patients.
• Verify eligibility and collect insurance information; assist with payments.
• Enter data accurately and manage patient instructions and forms.
• Operate the patient access system and respond to inquiries with empathy.
