Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners seeks an entry-level Patient Access professional for an onsite role at Mercy - Perrysburg Medical Center in Perrysburg, OH. You will perform patient registration, verify insurance, collect demographics, and support POS billing while delivering exceptional customer service.

The role requires 1+ year of experience and a willingness to learn CRCR within 9 months. Competitive hourly pay between $17.00 and $18.15, full-time schedule (two shifts), and a benefits package

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Must be inquisitive and demonstrate openness to innovation including AI to improve processes.
• CRCR certification required within 9 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient access tasks including accuracy of MRNs and eligibility checks with a focus on POS collections.
• Operate the telephone switchboard and provide courteous, compliant service.
• Maintain performance metrics and support audits and reporting systems.
• Pre-register patient accounts and collect demographic/insurance data as needed.
• Explain consent forms and distribute required patient education documents.
