Responsibilities

• Admitting duties for all patients admitted for services at the hospital
• Verify demographics, insurance information, and collect patient data
• Process physician orders and maintain accuracy in the registration workflow
• Use ABN/insurance tools to screen medical necessity and inform patients of potential non-payment
• Operate the hospital telephone switchboard and route calls professionally
• Provide patient education documents and obtain signatures where required
