Ensemble Health Partners is seeking an entry-level Patient Access Specialist to perform admitting duties at Ardent - Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, ID. This onsite role focuses on accurate registration, insurance verification, and compassionate customer service for patients and families.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience.
• Must be inquisitive and open to AI-driven process improvements.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CRCR certification within 9 months of hire (company-paid).

Responsibilities

• Assign MRNs and complete medical necessity/compliance checks while providing excellent service.
• Operate the telephone switchboard to relay calls and coordinate communications.
• Explain consent forms and distribute patient education materials to patients and guarantors.
• Screen eligibility and verify insurance to support POS and billing processes.
• Pre-register patients and collect demographics, insurance, and financial information including balances and payment plans.
