Job summary

You will verify insurance eligibility, obtain pre-authorizations, and collect copays while ensuring accurate entry into the electronic health record. The role requires strong customer service, multitasking, and collaboration with financial counselors as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
• Strong oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience using multiple tech resources (phone, computer, software, scanner).

Responsibilities

• Register and preregister patients; verify records and update EHR.
• Balance daily cash, collect co-pays and payments, and manage co-payments.
• Obtain pre-authorizations and ensure documents are scanned into the EHR.
• Provide excellent customer service and support patient satisfaction goals.
• Lead a PAR team; assist with scheduling and training; participate in QA audits.
