Kingman Regional Medical Center is seeking a Patient Access Representative to preregister, register, schedule, reschedule and discharge patients, ensuring complete data in the electronic health record and accurate entry of insurance details.

The role requires outstanding customer service, multitasking, and the ability to work varying shifts including nights, weekends and holidays. An American Heart Association BLS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year minimum in customer service (office setting) for PAR role.
• 1 year in registration or billing in a healthcare setting for Lead PAR role.

Responsabilités

• Provides excellent customer service and contributes to patient satisfaction and department goals.
• Field or direct incoming calls; respond to patient/staff inquiries.
• Refer patient accounts to financial counselors for explanations (denied authorizations, copays, coverage options, payment plans).
• Support department efficiency and positive feedback through teamwork and process improvements.
• Float to other areas as needed; work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours; participate in on-call rotations.
