Job summary

Qualifications

• Require two (2) years of customer service and/or clerical experience
• High school diploma or GED required; higher-level degree may satisfy this requirement

Responsibilities

• Verifies key ADT information (insurance verification, patient demographics, etc.) is current and accurate for patient safety, charging, coding, and billing accuracy
• Schedules all new and follow-up patient appointments; communicates cancellations to provider as necessary
• Completes and documents all governmental, regulatory, financial, and contractual forms; ensures correct scanning/saving
• Uses price estimation tool during registration to provide accurate patient estimates
• Meets front-end collection targets: deposits, estimated amounts due, co-pays, prior balances
• Participates in departmental QA by using system work queues to reduce errors and correct issues daily
