You will collaborate with the Centralized Billing Office to secure pre-certifications and manage authorizations. The ideal candidate brings at least 2 years in a medical office with medical terminology, coding, and payment collection, along with strong

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years experience in medical office with medical terminology, coding, charge entry and payment collection.

Responsibilities

Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously, identify practice, take messages and triage calls.
Post daily billing charges and verify insurance for new patients.
Manage patient check-in/check-out, collect co-pays, and schedule follow-ups.
Coordinate with Centralized Billing Office for referrals, pre-certifications, and authorizations.
Maintain patient communication and ensure accurate billing records in EMR.
