Job summary

Tanner Health is seeking an intake and registration professional to support pre-registration, registration, and insurance verification across multiple locations within the facility system. The role includes precertification, document completion, POS collections, and ensuring smooth patient flow through PAS operations.

You will interact with patients, families, and medical staff, and may work in a call center, patient-facing, or bedside capacity as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent public relations and communication skills with patients, families and payers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with interruptions and high stress.
• One year of customer service experience preferred; medical terminology knowledge preferred.
• Experience with ICD-9/CPT-4 coding techniques preferred.
• Strong teamwork and ability to work within a hospital setting.
• Proficient use of computer equipment and basic tech skills.
• Some college coursework preferred.
