• Excellent data entry, numeric skills, typing and basic computer navigation.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to collect demographic and financial data for registration and billing.
• Verify insurance coverage and benefits for services.
• Calculate and collect patient liability per financial clearance policies.
• Explain deposits and negotiate payment arrangements when needed.
• Assist patients to nursing units and provide directions or mobility support.
• Maintain compliance with cash policies, government payors and patient identification.
• Provide formal training and mentor peers; support revenue cycle duties across areas.
