Job summary

Conifer Health Solutions is seeking a Patient Access representative at Alabama Regional Medical Center. This PRN role supports scheduling, registration, pre-admission and admission, reception and discharge functions. Shifts are 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM with weekends, based in Alabama.

You will collect demographics, educate on financial liabilities, and ensure proper insurance verification and authorizations, enabling efficient hospital operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 year in a Customer Service role.
• 0-1 year administrative experience in medical facility, health insurance, or related area preferred
• Some college coursework is preferred

Responsibilities

• Register patients at date of service and explain and secure hospital forms.
• Educate patients on financial liabilities and collect payments per policies.
• Verify insurance, obtain authorizations, and coordinate post-discharge care as needed.
