Job summary

Conifer Health Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented patient access professional to support registration, scheduling, and financial clearance at Alabama Regional Medical Center. You will ensure accurate demographic capture and explain patient financial responsibilities while aligning with Conifer standards of care.

You will handle insurance verification, required authorizations, and assist with scheduling, all while maintaining compliant payment practices in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year in a Customer Service role.
• 0–1 year administrative experience in medical facility, health insurance, or related area preferred.
• Some college coursework is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and complete full patient registration at date of service.
• Explain and secure Hospital and patient legal forms; verify demographic information.
• Educate patients about financial liabilities and collect payments per policies.
• Verify insurance benefits, eligibility, and obtain authorizations for services.
• Assist with scheduling diagnostic procedures and post-discharge care coordination.
