Qualifications

• 2 years of healthcare or customer service experience or education equivalency required.

• Maintain a professional demeanor in stressful environments including trauma or life/death situations.

Responsibilities

• Conducts patient interviews to obtain demographic and financial data for registration, insurance verification, precertification, and billing.
• Verifies patient eligibility for insurance coverage and collects patient liability per policies.
• Assists patients to nursing units and escalates service issues to management when necessary.
• Performs revenue cycle duties across multiple areas/locations as assigned.
