Job summary

BMCHS is seeking an Ambulatory Services Representative II to support the Otolaryngology clinic on a per diem basis. The role covers weekdays only, with daytime hours and no weekends, evenings, or overnights.

Substantial patient access responsibilities include registration, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, and charge entry. The position requires strong English communication, excellent customer service, and confidentiality.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide front-end registration and patient access support.
• Verify insurance coverage and handle eligibility checks.
• Process charge entries and revenue batch controls.
• Assist with billing edits, reconciling charges, and inquiries to carriers.
• Support administrative tasks including scheduling, credentialing, and correspondence.
• Maintain MPI, registration demographics, appointment scheduling, and visit management.
